Beginning in 2009, an intense effort was undertaken to educate tribes and Native organizations of the need for a tribal college in California. Our mission is to promote greater access to higher education opportunities while striving to renew, teach and preserve tribal culture, history, policy and language. While we still have much to do, we have made significant strides.
